Mundus Subterraneus
One of the first albums of music I created (1991). It was done with pianos, harmoniums, shortwave radio sounds, and earthquake sounds generated from a very low frequency recording apparatus. The title of the album, “Mundus Subterraneus” was taken from a rare manuscript by Athanasius Kircher (1665) that describes and details earth currents. This was an early exploration into the dissociation of rhythm, melody, and harmony.
